Begin as a dust mite. Eat everything smaller than you. Flee everything bigger.

Nearly Nothing is an eat-to-grow arcade game presented as a Victorian natural-history field guide. Thirteen forms, from dust mite to elephant to something the printing press can barely hold. Permadeath. Everything you eat was someone's mother; everything bigger is hungry.

The museum does not mourn you. It catalogues you.

  • THIRTEEN PLATES: grow through the field guide, one specimen at a time
  • A DAILY EXPEDITION: the whole world gets the same meadow and the same weather (DROUGHT, FAMINE, NOCTURNE…). One attempt per day, settle it on the board
  • DUELS: throw a glove at a friend; the wager settles itself
  • THE OBITUARY COLUMN: every death filed, named, and gently mocked
  • THE APEX PARLOUR : a club room that admits only those who reached the top

No accounts. No timers nagging you back. Just the meadow, and the paperwork.
